August 1st Lambeau Clean Up!

Hi Team!

Our first big Lambeau clean up is this coming Monday, August 1st, at 4:30 pm! Our shift is supposed to last 2-3 hours, so we should be out of there by 7:30 (at the latest).  

Important Reminders:

1.   Parking is in the Lambeau Field parking lot near the Fleet Farm Gate located on the west side of Lambeau Field area. 

2.   Prior to entering the Fleet Farm gate all group members are required to fill out a sign-in sheet.  

3.  Please arrive at Lambeau Field at 4:15.   

4.  There is no dress code for the post game volunteer groups.  Volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately based on the weather. Opened-toed shoes are not permitted.

** Please make sure you have a ride set up for the way home.

August 2nd Weight Room Contact Day--Cancelled

Hi Ladies,

I just wanted to give you a head's up that next Tuesday's (August 2nd) contact day in the weight room has been cancelled. Meghan Kempen, our fabulous weight room coach, is not able to work with us until after school starts.  No worries, though--we will have a dynamite program in the weight room this season!  I know Meghan will design the perfect program to compliment the training we will do in the pool.  For now, I am planning on substituting ab workouts in place of weight room time in August.  So, wherever you see "WR" on the August schedule, we will being doing abs, instead. Tomorrow will be our last contact day before the season starts on August 9th!

Lambeau Field Clean Up --Update!

Hi Team!

I received the contract for our clean up days at Lambeau Field.  Here are the times we are scheduled to work:

August 1st--4:30 pm

August 13th--9:00 am

August 19th--4:30 pm

Remember--each team member is asked to work at (at least) one clean up day.  Please email or text me the date you would like to sign up for.

Noah's Ark--Last Call!

Hi Team!

Tomorrow is our big team trip to Noah's Ark, and it's not too late to sign up!  Please text or email me today if you are planning on joining us tomorrow.  Don't forget to bring your completed permission slip and $40 with you tomorrow or you will not be able to go.  Please meet in the West pool parking lot at 7:45. The bus will pull out at 8:00.

Lambeau Field Clean Up!

Hi AW-K Swimmers and Divers!

Did you know that non-profit groups get paid to help clean up Lambeau Field after games?  It’s true—they do!  We can earn $700 if we bring a group of 30 people to help clean up for 2-3 hours!  That’s a whole lot of money for 2-3 hours of work! I have locked us into 3 dates which will help us earn $2,100!  That amount will cover additional new parkas and give us a huge start toward the purchase of team bags, too!  Here’s where you come in:  I am asking each team member to commit to volunteer at least once (you can definitely come more than once!).   You will need to find your own ride to and from Lambeau Field.  Better yet, encourage your driver (parents, older siblings, etc.) to come with and help! I need 6 adults on each day, so do your best to get your parents to come with you!  The more, the merrier!  The best part is I was able to select 3 dates that all take place before school starts:

Monday, August 1^st
Saturday, August 13^th
Friday, August 19^th

Once I sign the contract, I will get the specific times that we will need to report for duty.  For now, I’d like you to look over your summer schedules and see which date(s) work for you.  Once you pick a day, please email or text me so I can lock you in.  It is important that you show up for the dates you commit to so that we have 30 volunteers on each day.  I sent guidelines for volunteering home with the girls who came to today's contact day.  If you didn't get one, please let me know.  I'd be happy to email you a copy.  I am super-excited about this fundraising opportunity, and I hope you are, too!

Contact Day #2!

Hi Team!!

Just a reminder that tomorrow (June 6th) is our second contact day!  We will meet again at Appleton East from 9:15-11:30.  Coach K and I have planned a super-fun activity for you guys to work on--you won't want to miss this one!

Also--don't forget to bring your permission slip and $40 for next Tuesday's trip to Noah's Ark!
